Experience the Hermès
approach to craftsmanship
Sat.-Sun., 16-17 November 2024
Hermès’s second picture book, Kurukuru to Stecchi (Twirl and Stitch; written and illustrated by 100%ORANGE and published by Kodansha), was published out of the desire to have children experience the joy of creation.
The main character is a spool of thread—an object without which Hermès’s artisans could not make their crafts. The thread, named Kurukuru, finds itself in an unexpected place where it befriends a group of other tools.
The story is one of everyday life in an Hermès workshop, where warm smiles spread across the faces of artisans as they experience the joy of making things with their hands. November is all about books at Lanterne Hermès, so why don’t you take this opportunity to enter into a world of picture books and craftsmanship?
* The workshop will be conducted in Japanese only.

*We are unable to take reservations by phone.
