Mystery at the Grooms’

An immersive experience crafted around Hermès objets

Welcome to an immersive scavenger hunt that is infused with a spirit of play and showcases the boundless creativity of Hermès’s 16 métiers (design departments). You will find a colourful universe built around Hermès objets, as well as horses—a motif that has inspired the maison for generations. You will need to use your wits and ingenuity to look for clues and solve a curious case.

The mystery begins the minute you enter the Grooms’ House. The horses of the grooms are missing! Are they hiding among the Hermès objets that adorn the many rooms? It will be up to you to find the horses, using the clues scattered throughout the residence. But you’ll need to be quick—the game will go by in the swish of a horse’s tail! How many horses will you be able to find on time?

You will be aided in the case by the famous equestrian detective Honoré, who will guide you from afar as you search high and low for every missing horse. His name has an uncanny resemblance to the Paris address of the very first Hermès store—could it be a coincidence?

Participation is open to everyone. Whether you’re a seasoned sleuth or an eager junior investigator, you’re welcome to become an Hermès detective for a day and attempt to solve the case. All you need to do is reserve your place from the event website and bring a fully charged smartphone with you to the event—along with your wits, some luck, and a generous spirit of play. The grooms will be waiting for you!
