A calendar refill
      by Geoff McFetridge

Three drawings by Geoff McFetridge enliven this calendar refill.

Hermès’s annual theme for 2025 is “Drawn to Craft”, and the first drawing-focused product to reach our customers’ hands was a calendar refill for an agenda.

The refill’s front-page designs are by Geoff McFetridge, a Canadian artist now based in Los Angeles. The powerful compositions, drawn in simple black and blue lines, truly embody this year’s Hermès theme.

Drawing is a universal language that allows us to communicate ideas and more. It is an embodiment of our identity, a personal stamp, and a signature that represents ourselves. An artist’s drawings reveal their vision, interpreted by the viewer through the lens of their imagination.

For us at Hermès, drawing is the very DNA by which we distinguish ourselves from others. What could be as meaningful as a message delivered through a drawing?

Who is this young man lying on his side? Is that a pen in his hand, and is he drawing the animals?
