OBJECTS CALL IMAGINATION
Inside the realm of imagination: Eight stories

For 25 years, the display windows of Ginza Maison Hermès have provided stages for telling the stories of Hermès’s objets to the public. In 2026, these imaginative tales will extend into the store as well—answer the call of venture beyond (L’appel du large) by stepping into these dreamlike adventures in honour of this year’s Hermès theme.
The current window display is Wave Machine by artist Holly Hendry. She was inspired by ancient sea maps, wave motion models, and wooden automata to create a dynamic ocean voyage. Through eight audio tales, you’ll be able to venture beyond the surface of this display and discover its secrets.
