November’s theme
As children, we opened our hearts to whatever moved us and drew whatever we pleased without a second thought. We were driven by an unstoppable spirit of play—a gleeful, childlike nature that we, at Hermès, retain even as adults.
“Drawn to Play” is our theme this month, and to celebrate, we would like to invite you into the world of Mystery at the Grooms’, an immersive scavenger hunt that showcases the boundless creativity of Hermès’s 16 métiers. The event will feature the great equestrian detective Honoré, who will also make an appearance on the Lanterne Hermès website. Here, he will visit Ginza Maison Hermès and uncover the secrets of the building—while also testing your wits in a playfully drawn puzzle world.
We chatted with two artists: Alain Pilon, whose illustrations are imbued with a playful spirit, and Perrine Boudy, who designed the latest window displays for Ginza Maison Hermès.
The walls of Ginza Maison Hermès are decorated with paintings, sketches, lithographs, and other works. Each month, we share the story of one artwork.
